The sun had long since gone and offered a blanket of darkness to overtake the landscape, giving Gilgamesh and Aradia the advantage they needed to hide their looted treasure. Gilgamesh was carrying everything, too stubborn to allow his sister to carry any. Even if he did trust her not to take any for herself, he saw no reason for her to carry any when he, himself, could carry it all. They were heading for the old willow tree at the edge of the swamp of the dark forest. Not many ventured there due to the standing water making it difficult to walk through. This made it the perfect out of sight spot for temporary hiding. Gilgamesh lept from one large half sunken boulder to another, with Aradia just behind him in quick pursuit of the amber rook. When they made it past the water and beyond the branches of the willow tree, they came to semi rough ground that was covered in a thin layer of rich soil. It was covered in tall grass, and at the base of the tree just a little but above ground
